A New Era of Resources
Imagine a new era of mining where the richest veins of resources aren’t buried deep underground
but are hidden in plain sight—right within our cities. Welcome to Trans Levant Urban Mining
Company, a pioneering enterprise based in Jordan with ambitious plans to transform recycling across
the Levant region.
We specialize in urban mining: the art and science of reclaiming valuable materials from urban waste
streams, both post-consumer and post-industrial, and turning them into reusable resources. By
applying the precision and standards of traditional mining to recycling, we aim to redefine the
circular economy in emerging markets and post-conflict areas, contributing to rebuilding efforts and
environmental sustainability.
With advanced recovery technologies and intelligent waste management, Trans Levant is setting new
benchmarks for transforming waste into wealth.
Message from Fuad Sajdi, CEO
“In a world where resources are finite, cities have become the new mines. At Trans Levant Urban Mining Company, we asked a simple question: Why extract from the earth when the materials we need are already above ground? In Jordan, for instance, 92% of municipal waste is not recycled. We saw an opportunity—not only to reduce waste but to turn it into wealth, reduce reliance on imports, and empower local communities. Before rebuilding post-conflict areas, someone has to clean up. That’s where we come in.”
